Volunteering
The hall is run by volunteers. We have a mixture of trustees and others who prefer to volunteer their time for specific tasks.
If you wish to know more about the role of a trustee - additional information can be found here:

Trustees have a legal responsibility to act in the best interests of the charity, manage the charity's resources responsibly and act with reasonable care and skill.
The committee is always looking for new volunteers to help share the workload.
Specific tasks include:
- Weekly inspection of the play equipment (training available)
- Checking the hall after ad-hoc bookings to ensure everything has been left as it should be
- Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance
- Arranging contractors to quote and carry out more complex and specialist repairs and maintenance
It can be rewarding to work collectively to ensure the hall is able to remain open for the local community to enjoy for years to come.
