Shimmering Mosaic Sun-Catchers Workshop Ages: 7+

Brighten up your garden or bedroom window this summer holidays! Bring the kids along for a fun, creative, and completely stress-free afternoon crafting shimmering mosaic sun catchers. Using a pre-cut waterproof base, children will mount a reflective CD centre to catch the summer sunlight. Using our mess-free, kid-friendly glue system, they will design and arrange a colourful border of smooth glass nuggets, glistening beads, and vibrant mosaic tiles. They can let their imaginations run wild to create a sun-king face, a shimmering animal (like a cat or seal), or a beautiful abstract pattern! To finish the piece, they will string together a decorative hanging using colourful beads and jewellery thread.

At the end of the class, mosaic artist Sarah will safely pack up all the masterpieces, take them to her studio to apply a professional weatherproof grout, and return them to the centre a few days later, beautifully finished and ready for you to hang up at home
