Heritage Open Weekend

Margaret Harker Hall & Blofield Memorial Ground Heritage Open Weekend

Blofield: A Living History will be running 19th and 20th September 2026 at The Margaret Harker Hall, Blofield as part of Heritage Open Days. This is FREE ENTRY and all ages are welcome.  We will be offering refreshments including cake and tea.

Explore the recent history our local community through the perspective of villagers, living here.  Portraits, interviews and historic artefacts combine to offer a fresh perspective of Blofield's history over the past 125 years.

The exhibition will include recently rediscovered archives dating back through the decades giving an insight into village clubs, societies and the hall. There will be a collection by Barbara Pilch focussed on Margaret Harker herself, and an exhibition by Chloe Veale for the Blofield Tennis Club - which celebrated its centenary recently.
