Green Man Garden Plaquest with Sarah's Mosaics

Looking for a unique, hands-on creative activity for your older children this summer holidays? Step away from screens and join mosaic artist Sarah Barter for an exciting unique morning of 3D sculpting and mosaic design! Young artists will learn how to mix, hold, and sculpt an expressive 3D face. Once the central face is ready, they will dive into the mosaic treasure chests to design a spectacular, wild border. Using hand-nipped fragments of colourful stained glass, raw black slate, and glistening nuggets, you will embed your mosaic pieces directly into the clay -completely skipping the need for messy glues or traditional grey grout!

Because we are working with professional sculpting materials, children aged 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult to act as their trusty "studio assistant." ( and help with the clay kneading and supervise the safe handling of the glass fragments.) Older children and teenagers (aged 12+) are welcome to attend independently. Every plaque comes with a heavy-duty, professional hanging ring pre-mounted to the back, meaning your child's masterpiece will be 100% frost-proof, weatherproof, and ready to hang proudly on your garden wall or fence!
